The Woman in the Yellow Wall paper project
I am working on this series of images and I need more models for the base.
This series references a short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman in which a young wife, who had gone mad, was kept in a room by her husband. The wall paper in the room became her world and she became convinced that there was a woman entrapped in the wall paper.
Through these images I am interested in exploring the roles of gender and mental health as they play into identity.
